To make an Awarness of Conservation of Sparrows to the public a rally was conducted with 1000 students from ‘Dhanalakshmi Higher Secondary School’ and ‘ Vallal S I Alagarsamy Chettiar Hr sec school’ on 01.02.2020.

Inauguration of "Birds conservation club”@ DHSS

Motivated the students and inaugurated the “Birds conservation club”.This is first club inaugurated only for birds to conserve in a school.

Sparrow Conservation Programme @ VSIAC HSS

Wildlife Photo Exhibition @ VSIAC HSS

"The continued existence of wildlife and wilderness is important to the quality of life of humans"
To motivate the students on the process of wildlife conservation, wild animals and birds pictures were taken by different wildlife photographers. The photos were showcased for one day in the Wildlife Photo Exhibition conducted at ‘Vallal S I Alagarsamy Chettiar Hr sec school’, Royapuram on 26.01.2020.

Sparrow Conservation Programme @ TST RGM HSS

An awareness program on sparrow conservation was conducted at ‘T.S.T. Rajah Girls' Matric. Hr.Sec.School’, Tondairpet on 25.01.2020.

Workshop @ DHSS

2^nd one day workshop on making of sparrow nest boxes was conducted at ‘Dhanalakshmi Higher Secondary School’ on 29^th Nov, 2019. A total number of 250 boxes were made by the students and distributed to the various school students and teachers those are interested in conservation of house sparrow in North Chennai. Mr. Ganeshan, Explained the procedure of making nest boxes to the students from various classes attended the workshop.
