Description
General: Program was organised by KOODUGAL trust. In this event, students were given awareness and hands-on training to make nest boxes for the sparrows. In total 100 boxes were made and distributed to the students.
Guest: 1 Explained about sustainable Projects to the students and thought how to improve them in future and the importance of Environmental Studies
Guest: 2 Explained the survival of birds in urban areas and their difficulties. Explained how many species we lost and the reason.
Objective
- Stressed the importance of Birds to students
- Sparrows’ role in Food Chain
- By preserving Sparrow, we can improve the living standard
- Also, the importance of Organic farming was explained by the guest
- Hands–on training was given to students
