Description

After a long gap, I had the chance to reconnect with nature at the serene Manimutharu Dam. The calm waters and lush greenery were a gentle reminder of how important it is to pause, breathe, and find balance. The day became even more meaningful during our regular Sparrow Conservation Project in association with Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation. Among the students I met were orphaned children, spending time with them, playing volleyball, and sharing heartfelt conversations was truly special.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ayyanar C, who has been leading this program here with great dedication.

Both the experiences being immersed in nature and being with these children made me pause and reflect. In our daily rush to outrun the clock, are we staying connected to the true purpose of life?

Corporate Relationship management

  • Purpose: To provide students with hands-on experience in corporate relationship management, budget preparation, project proposal creation, leadership development, and project presentation skills.
  • Duration: Flexible based on student availability | Provided day basis as well hour basis
  • Eligibility: Any UG/PG degree relevant to the Environmental and Mechanical studies
  • Requirements:
    1. Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    4. Excellent research and analytical skills
    5. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    7. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of internship

As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including video coverage of student locations where sparrows have occupied the nest boxes, short film creation, social media management, and content creation.
  • Requirements

  • Eligibility: Open to students pursuing any UG/PG degree relevant to Environmental Conservation.
  • Intern Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate intern to join our team in conserving sparrow populations through awareness and education. The successful candidate will work closely with schools, experts, and volunteers to execute awareness programs, conduct training sessions, and monitor the project’s impact.
  • Requirements:
    1. Passion for environmental conservation and education
    2. Moderate communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    4. Strong administrative and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Permission and Partnerships: Secure permission from schools to conduct awareness programs and establish partnerships with school administrators.
