A Story of Successful Completion of Sparrow Awareness & DIY Workshop in Ranipet District Expanding our conservation journey into a new district, Koodugal Trust successfully conducted a Sparrow Awareness Campaign & Do-It-Yourself Nest Box Workshop at A.M. Dhuraisamy Chettiar Aided Primary School, Arcot, Ranipet District, in association with Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation.
This initiative became possible through the valuable support of Ms. SanthaLakshmi, who has been closely connected with Koodugal and consistently encourages our mission among her students. She further extended her support by connecting us with Ms. Vithiya Teacher, Correspondent of the school, enabling this meaningful program to happen. Several school correspondents and community members also joined the program, strengthening the collective impact. 💚 A Moment That Defined the Mission During the workshop, a student who is usually very calm and silent surprised everyone. Without prompting, the child became deeply engaged and independently started fabricating the nest box. Teachers were amazed to witness this transformation during the activity.
This is exactly what Koodugal strives for positive behavioral change through hands-on environmental learning. When children build for sparrows, they also build confidence, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we are creating safe spaces for sparrows while nurturing environmental responsibility among young minds. 🌱

Internship Program 5 |
Corporate Relationship management

  • Purpose: To provide students with hands-on experience in corporate relationship management, budget preparation, project proposal creation, leadership development, and project presentation skills.
  • Duration: Flexible based on student availability | Provided day basis as well hour basis
  • Eligibility: Any UG/PG degree relevant to the Environmental and Mechanical studies
  • Requirements:
    1. Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    4. Excellent research and analytical skills
    5. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    7. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of internship

    We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to join our team at Koodugal! As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including video coverage of student locations where sparrows have occupied the nest boxes, short film creation, social media management, and content creation.
  • Requirements
    1. Strong passion for storytelling and content creation

  • Eligibility: Open to students pursuing any UG/PG degree relevant to Environmental Conservation.
  • Intern Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate intern to join our team in conserving sparrow populations through awareness and education. The successful candidate will work closely with schools, experts, and volunteers to execute awareness programs, conduct training sessions, and monitor the project’s impact.
  • Requirements:
    1. Passion for environmental conservation and education
    2. Moderate communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    4. Strong administrative and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Permission and Partnerships: Secure permission from schools to conduct awareness programs and establish partnerships with school administrators.
