Description

On the same day, we successfully conducted another impactful program in Ranipet District.
We are happy to highlight the contribution of Dr. Praveen Kumar Manogaran, a technology professional working as a software engineer, who is equally passionate about environmental sustainability. Inspired by Koodugal initiatives, he joined hands with us and has been actively driving change at the grassroots level.
Koodugal consistent efforts are now evolving into a strong chain of connected institutions. The school correspondent in Ranipet had previously participated in one of our programs, which led to this continued collaboration. Building on that connection, and with the support of our Head of Vellore Region, we successfully implemented the Koodugal Sparrow Conservation Program for students from Grades 4 to 8.
The session was highly interactive, with students enthusiastically participating in a hands-on DIY nest-making workshop, fostering both awareness and action toward sparrow conservation.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation for their continued support, which enables us to scale our efforts with consistency and impact.
I would like to take this opportunity to specially thank Dr. Praveen Kumar Manogaran for taking this initiative forward as a series, connecting communities, and inspiring young minds to create meaningful environmental change.

Corporate Relationship management

  • Purpose: To provide students with hands-on experience in corporate relationship management, budget preparation, project proposal creation, leadership development, and project presentation skills.
  • Duration: Flexible based on student availability | Provided day basis as well hour basis
  • Eligibility: Any UG/PG degree relevant to the Environmental and Mechanical studies
  • Requirements:
    1. Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    4. Excellent research and analytical skills
    5. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    7. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of internship

    We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to join our team at Koodugal! As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including video coverage of student locations where sparrows have occupied the nest boxes, short film creation, social media management, and content creation.
  • Requirements
    1. Strong passion for storytelling and content creation
    2. Excellent video production and editing skills

  • Eligibility: Open to students pursuing any UG/PG degree relevant to Environmental Conservation.
  • Intern Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate intern to join our team in conserving sparrow populations through awareness and education. The successful candidate will work closely with schools, experts, and volunteers to execute awareness programs, conduct training sessions, and monitor the project’s impact.
  • Requirements:
    1. Passion for environmental conservation and education
    2. Moderate communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    4. Strong administrative and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Permission and Partnerships: Secure permission from schools to conduct awareness programs and establish partnerships with school administrators.
  2. Program Execution: Conduct awareness programs and hands-on training sessions for students within school premises.
