Description

As part of World Sparrow Day celebrations, Koodugal – Network for Environment Sustainability Trust and the Old Students Association (OSA) of Bharathi Women’s College, Chennai, organised a workshop on String Art and Sparrow Nest Box Making on 14 March 2026. Our co-founder, a proud alumna and OSA President, led the initiative with support from the Dept of Mathematics faculties and volunteers.

We’re thrilled to connect with students and plan to expand these activities across the college. Many showed interest in buying string art and sparrow nests, and requested stalls at college events. Happy to have satisfied participants!

Internship Program 5 |
Corporate Relationship management

  • Purpose: To provide students with hands-on experience in corporate relationship management, budget preparation, project proposal creation, leadership development, and project presentation skills.
  • Duration: Flexible based on student availability | Provided day basis as well hour basis
  • Eligibility: Any UG/PG degree relevant to the Environmental and Mechanical studies
  • Requirements:
    1. Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    4. Excellent research and analytical skills
    5. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    7. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of internship

Key Responsibilities:

    4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    5. Passion for environmental sustainability and social responsibility
    6. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks of internship

  • Intern Summary:
    We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to join our team at Koodugal! As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including video coverage of student locations where sparrows have occupied the nest boxes, short film creation, social media management, and content creation.
  • Requirements
    1. Strong passion for storytelling and content creation
    2. Excellent video production and editing skills
    3. Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools

  • Purpose: To provide students with a hands-on experience in social responsibility, life science of birds, team management, and leadership development.
  • Duration: Flexible based on student availability
  • Eligibility: Open to students pursuing any UG/PG degree relevant to Environmental Conservation.
  • Intern Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate intern to join our team in conserving sparrow populations through awareness and education. The successful candidate will work closely with schools, experts, and volunteers to execute awareness programs, conduct training sessions, and monitor the project’s impact.
  • Requirements:
    1. Passion for environmental conservation and education
    2. Moderate communication and interpersonal skills
    3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    4. Strong administrative and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Permission and Partnerships: Secure permission from schools to conduct awareness programs and establish partnerships with school administrators.
  2. Program Execution: Conduct awareness programs and hands-on training sessions for students within school premises.
  3. Expert Collaboration: Learn from field experts from Koodugal members to enhance knowledge about sparrow conservation.
