Description

A Meaningful Milestone – Our 82nd School Successfully Completed!
Today, we completed our Sparrow Conservation Workshop at Gateway International School – IB, marking the completion of our programme in the 82nd school!
First and foremost, my heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Revathy for her tremendous end-to-end support and involvement in making this programme a success. Celebrating her daughter’s birthday with Koodugal through a meaningful environmental initiative made the occasion even more special. Her support and coordination across every aspect of the programme were truly remarkable. Thank you once again, Mrs. Revathy, for making this birthday celebration meaningful and memorable.
Our workshops are always special, especially because they give children the chance to experience something new. For many students, today was the first time they had ever held a hammer and experienced nailing as they assembled their own sparrow nest boxes under our guidance. I was genuinely impressed by their enthusiasm, curiosity, participation, and response throughout the workshop.
One of the most heartwarming moments was watching some of the special children beautifully make their own nest boxes. Their involvement and creativity reminded us of the true purpose of conducting these workshops: to make environmental conservation inclusive, practical, and accessible to every child.
Today, we felt that our purpose was truly fulfilled. Seeing children learn through hands-on experience and actively contribute to sparrow conservation gives us immense satisfaction and motivation to continue this journey.
Finally, our sincere thanks to the Principal and Management of Gateway International School – IB for providing us with this wonderful opportunity.
