EMAI is a trust for environment monitoring and action initiating. It is an organization which works to promote awareness on sparrows and conserve them by providing sparrow boxes.

Event:

    An awareness programme on sparrow conservation was conducted at ‘K C Sankaralinga Nadar Higher Secondary School’, Royapuram on 31.08.2019 between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Distribution Of Sparrow Boxes:

The team of EMAI provided sparrow nest boxes to the students and later fixed the boxes in the students’ homes.

Address to the STUDENTS:

• Dr T.Murugavel, Professor and Head of EMAI-SVCE-CARE discoursed the sparrows and reasons to conserve them.
• Mr E.Shanmuganatham, Wildlife Photographer and Writer, addressed the students about birds and the ways to conserve sparrows as students.
• Dr Anbudurai, a Psychiatrist expressed ways to reduce plastic.
• Mr.D. Ganeshan, an Environmentalist, at Koodugal Organisation, Explained how to fix and maintain the sparrow cages at home.
